14 Carat Gold & Black Opal Triplet Ring

Vintage Opal triplet ring set in a 14 carat yellow gold band, UK size O. Wonderful play on light with the dark blue peppered with light blue and flashes of kryptonite green.

Ring is resizable, your local jeweler can do this or we are happy to arrange this for you with our goldsmith at an additional cost.

Note this ring is a triplet which means it is not solid Opal but a thin slice of opal sandwiched between two layers of resin - which makes the ring extremely lightweight. The resin topping creates a cobachon surface that makes this ring more resilient than solid opal, which is relatively soft compared to other gemstones and prone to scratches or cracks. Setting is wire work style.
