Just want to share a few housekeeping items, please read on before you purchase ❤️

1. Packaging: All items are packaged in a Little Gem gift box along with a small travel pouch as well. If you’ve purchased multiple items they will get shipped in one gift box, so if you need multiple boxes please email us at time of purchase and we’ll accommodate this free of charge ❤️

2. Shipping: our shipping policy can be found here.   If for some reason you don’t see your destination listed, please just message us and we’ll look into whether we can accommodate this.

3. Returns/ exchanges are currently not possible. For more details please read our returns policy here.

4. Many of our pieces being vintage are 9 carat gold, which has been popular over the ages as it was cheaper to produce and therefore been more accessible to society. 9 carat equates to 37.5% gold purity (9 out of a maximum of 24 carat pure gold) meaning the other 62.5% are other metal alloys mixed in - usually silver and copper, which can cause discoloration of the skin for some folks. It’s personally never happened to me, but I want to call it out for anyone who has never worn less than 14-18 carat gold, where it’s less likely given the higher gold purity. It is also predominately relevant for yellow gold pieces - white gold pieces will have a layer of rhodium to make the colour white and the rhodium acts as a barrier.

If you search on the internet you’ll find some suggestions on how to prevent this from happening if you’re finding it happens to you, but we can’t personally make any suggestions as to what works best as we haven’t had it happen to us!
