Once a bar brooch, this ring features a beautiful unheated Burma Ruby cabochon surrounded by old cut diamonds in an attractive suspended setting.
Marks were lost in the conversion process however metal tests as Platinum and the piece dates from the Edwardian era. The cabochon ruby stone features natural surface inclusions and is a beautiful pinkish red highly saturated hue.
